Howdy coffee lovers.
Summer is all around us, the sun is out and the days are warm – the coats and jackets are back in the closet, you get the drift. These are perfect days for going out and about or sitting in the pool for hours, taking in the sun or just finding a nice cool corner to tune down your body’s temperature.
However you look at it, summer is hot. Guess what else is hot – coffee.
If you’re anything like me, there’s nothing better than a cold drink to cool you down during the day, it’s a simple pleasure but one I cherish on any possible occasion. And if you enjoy coffee half as much as I do, you’ll agree with me that the first person to crush ice with coffee turning it into a summer refreshing pick-me-up, should be crowned king of everything.
So, let’s get to the point.
Today I have prepared a true treat for all you coffee lovers, an iced coffee that will add some “Pizazz” into your life, sip by sip. Using Rosso Caffe’s unique Coconut Coffee blend, you can make an iced coffee fit for a tropical emperor.
Coconut Iced Coffee recipe
Here’s what you’ll need and how to create your very own coconut iced coffee, it’s as simple as that.
- A blender of any type
- 2 capsules of Rosso’s Coconut blend
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 cup of ice cubes
- 2 tbsp. oatmeal
- 1 banana (sliced)
- Dulce de leche or caramel to garnish
All you need to do is add the ingredients into the blender and push the button till the ice is completely crushed and all ingredients are properly blended. Serve in a tall glass (I like to chill my glass for a few minute before serving), and garnish with a sprinkle of oatmeal, a slice of banana and some caramel, Dulce de leche or anything else you like (I find maple syrup is a great substitute).
There you have it. An amazingly fresh and refreshing iced coffee, that will send your taste buds to a Caribbean island and give you all the energy you need to get you through the rest of the summer.
